We make beautiful bespoke Welsh Slate shower trays to order, supplied in 42mm thick slate any size or shape. As we mill into our slate, sometimes you will see the different colour layers appearing to give interesting natural variations. We mill and shape using our cnc machines, then finish by hand.
Waste hole is countersunk to accept the high quality waste with chrome top, supplied with every shower tray. The waste hole will be in the centre unless specified.
We recommend bedding our shower trays on a wet mortar mix on a solid concrete base. If laying on timber floorboards we recommend fixing an 18mm ply base first, then bed on a flexible ’tile on wood’ or simular flexible tile adhesive so the the slate finds its own home evenly without any point loads or high points underneath. (We cannot take responsibility for incorrect fitting of slate resulting in damage). Recomended to be installed by plumber.
We also supply beautiful honed slate floor tiles or wall tiles to compliment your new bespoke shower tray to give that contemporary feel. We supply sealers and colour matching silicone to finish off perfectly..
